Happy 4 year anniversary to my darling Matt…..marrying you was the easiest decision I’ve ever made. These years with you have been quite a journey, and I’m so blessed to have you by my side- challenging me, helping me, accepting me, and growing with me.

You are the eternal optimist, and I cannot tell you how wonderful that is to be around. You keep me in line.

You are resilient and painstakingly meticulous. I love that about you, because I wear down and get sloppy. (phew that one was hard to admit).

We are both stubborn – and when I say stubborn, I mean it. But somehow we have managed to make it work for us.

I’m not going to get better at washing the dishes, and you have accepted that.

You really listen to me, even when you pretend not to. You even listen when I tell you about how obsessed I am with something. Or how its my favorite thing EVER.

Everyday, you deal with the worst scenarios in life-witnessing the saddest and most tragic happenings of this world are part of your daily job. To do what you do blows my mind- but its your calling and you are flawless at it. There are no words that can express how deeply this touches me.

You are a ridiculously good cook, and its pretty cool that I don’t have to worry about dinner when you are home.

You have given me life. His name is Cash.

Heather and Jeremy were married at Orfilia Vineyards in April- and what a sweet couple! I met Jeremy for the first time when I pinned on his boutonniere right before he started taking pictures. He had a grin from ear to ear -it was easy to tell how excited he was to marry Heather. And that beard…… priceless! After looking through the pictures it must be a family thing?

Here’s a little sneak peak from the adorable wedding we were a part of a few weeks ago at the Darlington House in La Jolla. Our flowers were featured on Wedding Chicks and Elizabeth Anne Designs. Adorable doesn’t even begin to describe this couple. Each detail was so well thought out and amazing. The fantastic duo- He and She Photography took the gorgeous photos!! They are such a talented team. The cute ladies from Carter & Cookdid an absolutely fab job coordinating the event. The sweetness of this day just warms my heart!

Mike & Brenna were married at L’Auberge in Del Mar- one of my favorite hotels! Brenna was the absolute sweetest bride you could ever ask for….and Mike was a groom sent from heaven! He even bought Brenna a second wedding band and surprised her at the altar. What girl wouldn’t LOVE another ring? We were excited to work with Staci Tiras- Jones from Bliss Event and Loius and Erin from Palos Studios.

Every time I work with Chris from White Haute Photography, I get so excited!! He captures our work so beautifully, and when I saw these pictures I literally gasped. So lovely – right?

7 years ago Tom and Katie (TomKat) didn’t have the money to invest in a wedding. What a fantastic way to begin 2010!!

I’ve had this image of SJP for awhile….words cannot describe how much I love this dress! Now there’s a bouquet to match. I want to build out this idea a lot more because- as my husband says they are ” the best ever” and “so in love” apparently I say both of these phrases ALOT.
